Carlin is my 4th grandchild. She was born with two disabilities. Cystic Fibrosis and Wolf-Hirschhorn Syndrome. WHH is an extremely rare genetic disorder. Carlin is 2 now and weighs a whopping 15 lbs. I have watched my kids face some of the hardest situations in life yet love their babies with all that is within them. I think these babies get their resilience from their parents. As a Grammy, it keeps me in constant prayer. When your kids are hurting it's double the pain. You hurt for them and your grand babies! At the end of the day the conclusion is that God is real, that he loves us dearly and he makes no mistakes. She has purpose and she brings us joy. by @jodyemcgray

Little Brody had open heart surgery on Monday.
Due to a complication he will have another surgery Monday morning to have a permanent pacemaker put in......unless God gives us a "suddenly". My two favorite words in scripture are "BUT GOD" by @jodyemcgray

Our sweet Brody is getting ready for his big day on May 8th, Open Heart Surgery. Brody is my newest grandbaby and we were blessed with an extra chromosome with him. He makes my heart dance! taken in Mooresville, North Carolina by @jodyemcgray

I have 5 grandchildren, out of the 5 three of them are special needs. One with Spinabifa, one with Cystic Fibrosis plus Wolf Hirschorn Syndrome and my newest has Downs Syndrome @lifewithbrody.
These kids are my life! There is no genetic links to make sense of it all. All I know is that I am a truly blessed grammy. I will be using my page to bring awareness and encouragement to special needs parents and grandparents by @jodyemcgray
