Perhaps we’re biased, but we cannot help feeling an immense sense of pride for our three young men who stepped into the cage tonight at Rampage Combat.

Joe Irigoyen made a statement tonight, stepping up and claiming his place as the King of Long Beach. His performance earned him the 555 Vitae Fight of the Night, and we couldn’t be prouder.

Victor Talavera fought with heart, courage, and determination. Every battle teaches us something, and tonight was another chapter in the journey of a young man who continues to grow, learn, and become a better fighter.

David Matos stepped into that cage with the heart and confidence of a champion. Regardless of the outcome, he represented himself, his team, and the 555 Vitae family with tremendous pride.

As a sponsor, mentor, friend, and, in many ways, a father figure to these young men, I’ll admit the emotion runs deep. Watching them put themselves on the line, challenge themselves, and represent something bigger than themselves is a privilege I don’t take lightly.
