Ink on paper. Mexico 2-3 England, Estadio Azteca. The best match of the World Cup for me.

This original piece was raffled off for @darcys.dream, set up by Lloyd and Sacha in memory of their daughter Darcy, raising money for the children’s hospice that cared for the three of them.

When Lloyd asked me to draw something around the football theme, there was only one game it could be. Bellingham brace inside two minutes, Quiñones volleying one back before the break, a red card, a penalty each way, then eleven minutes of stoppage time with Mexico throwing everything at big Dan Burn. I wanted to try and capture it all on one piece of paper.

Congrats to the winner and thank you to everyone who entered raising money for such a worthy cause. taken in Estadio Azteca by @joe_mun

A collaborative artwork created with my friend and esteemed artist @joe_mun, who supplied the original template print in his signature live hand-drawing style - captured during a holiday with his wife (pictured in the inset).

The lickedcity edit expands upon the existing architecture of Joe’s design, introducing dystopic, disorienting futuristic structures and facial motifs that generate an inhabitable landscape for the eyes to focus. The result is a tantalising exemplar of monochromatic doodle art, layered with a licked, quintessential intensity and narrative depth.

Some of my favourite shots taken during the filming of the @spursofficial NLD film. It was cool to frame the players against the changing sky and different crops of the ground. taken in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by @joe_mun
