1️⃣…2️⃣…3️⃣ 🥇👌🏻

3 years in a row 😬🙌🏻

Wanted it . Earned it . Took it.

The city’s largest carpet wholesale warehouse , and I am their biggest independent purchaser for the third consecutive year .

A little goal I’ve set myself for the last couple of years now , felt like I had to get that 3 in a row 😅😅

Will always be massively proud of this little business I have created , I say it all the time ….

The business is small but the work rate is MASSIVE 📈📈📈

It was very very close this year with the runner up, we was behind at one point (you will probably be able to tell from the instagram posts & stories when that was) . Even put myself under the cosh at one point to be totally honest .

Next year I’ll definitely be taking a more relaxed approach to getting the top spot, but we will see what happens .

Most importantly , as I say every year , this would not be possible without all of you . With so many other options for carpets & flooring these days , it really is appreciated that all our customers old & new still choose us .

Thank you for all the work, the likes , the comments & the shares.

Just want to wish you all a very merry Christmas , and a happy new year . 🎄 🎅 ❤️

A couple more days then it’s time for a very well earned break.

All the best for 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ taken in Magan Carpet and Flooring Ltd by @joeblower_carpets

CAREERS WEEK

Back to school today 📚✏️📘🚍📕📖📏📎

I was invited into @staloysiusl36 to speak with the year 5&6 classes , about my little business and how I got started .

We done a little q&a session after it (my favourite part) and make sure I wasn’t too serious with them.

As they all have SATs coming up , my message to them was to always try their hardest , BUT do not feel pressured into having to get straight As.

Exam results DO NOT define us , I left school early without any qualifications , and I have never not been in work since .

Hard work and determination gets us where we need to be , not our grades . by @joeblower_carpets

Carpet fitter ➡️ Flooring Contractor ✅

A month in Colombia done ✅ 🇨🇴🎒💼

Once again, this wasn’t just a vacation. This was quite possibly the most important — and proudest — month of my whole working life.

At the start of July, I was faced with a massive task moving forward. I’d gone from a two-man team to a one-man team.

With a full diary, I had no choice but to knuckle down.

For seven weeks, I worked seven-day weeks and 15+ hour days. Every single job that was booked in still got done.

But I knew I couldn’t keep that up forever. The idea I’d had planned for a long time had to come into action.

It was time for the biggest expansion to date: getting a team of fitters on board, so I didn’t have to do every job myself.

In the month I’ve been away, we’ve had 30 jobs go out…

Carpets fitted every day, lino, laminate, an Amtico job, and over 200m² of LVT click fitted.

Even while away, I’ve been up early every day and the diary has stayed open — making sure the admin side of the business keeps moving too.

Believe me when I say, no one works harder.

When I get back, I’ve got over 30 measures booked in: two full days of measures, plus a couple scattered in between jobs. It’s crazy, and I’m forever grateful.

I know it sounds cheesy, but this is something I’ve dreamed of and wanted for so long. I genuinely feel so proud — all the hard work really is paying off.

But as always, without my loyal customers ❤️ and all my new ones, none of this would be possible. So I just want to say thank you very much.

And I’m looking forward to getting back out there on the tools 🤣

See you all very soon 🤙🏻

Yes, we’ve got more fitters out this year than ever before — but the diary is filling up really, really quickly 🙌🏻

If you’re hoping to have new carpets, Lino, laminate or LVT fitted before Christmas, please don’t leave it until the last minute.
