The silence of space is louder than this…

I captured this image in the wild, under a bush on the side of the road; there was a break in the rain for just long enough to capture it—#shoottoysanywhere.

Awesome figure designed by @zhi.park @damtoys. Waited two years for it to arrive!

This second shot is a 3D parallel stereoscopic pair viewed similar to a magic eye image and pops in 3D! @londonstereoscopiccompany by @joecow

“Braaaaains”

There was a small window of opportunity between rainstorms to shoot this stop motion out in the Sonoran desert underbrush.

The sunlight filtered through the bush with a beautiful golden glow that matched golden hour, but was short lived by its fleeting exit between huge fast moving cumulonimbus clouds bumping into each other and gathering strength. I was just there to take some pictures but decided last second I had to animate this awesome figure I waited two years to receive. Thanks to @zhi.park and @damtoys for creating such a masterpiece! It was worth the wait.

I did not touch the lighting in the scene; the puffy clouds became ominous and I had to act quick. #stopmotionanywhere is not for the faint of heart. I wrapped up as the darkness of the storm transformed early afternoon into night. I packed up and booked it out of there on an already muddy trail and arrived to my car in the nick of time. No sooner had I shut the door and the clouds burst another deluge; this time I was thankful to not be getting soaked a second time with my gear.

Happy Halloween folks! Enjoy the time with family and spooky fun moments like this. #braaains by @joecow

Got stuck in a downpour while on a toy photo shoot out in the Sonoran desert near Superstition Mountains in Apache Junction, Arizona.😅👌🌵💧⛈️🌧️ by @joecow

Stop motion anywhere! Including in the rain.

Yes I got soaked and my camera did too… luckily it’s weather resistant. Hopefully that means water proof.

After the monsoon rains the Sonoran desert comes alive with tiny green mosses and plants covering the desert floor; it really is beautiful to see all the tiny green details.

$Some of the Interstellar Exoplanet Ekistics (ISEE) team have discovered high levels of the element moscovium while mining a highly radioactive asteroid. Trace amounts of moscovium were created synthetically on earth in the Large Hadron Collider @cern, but it decayed into nihonium in moot fractions of a second making it impossible to study. The long theorized “island of stability” has been found as this asteroid seems to have a propulsion system entirely made from a moscovium core which makes the surface glow a bright pinkish hue while maintaining a stable non-explosive fission of sorts leading to almost infinite energy with very limited consumption. Findings will open up endless possibilities! The vast fabric of space is ripe with unfathomable discoveries! #interstellarexoplanetekistics #joecowlego #exosuit by @joecow$

The community gossip at it again… all that desert drama… 🌵🏜️🌵

Walking the saguaro cactus rib road through the underbrush tunnels of the Sonoran desert; a view from the grasshopper mouse, that howls like a wolf after a fresh grasshopper kill… seriously, look it up!
