Nathan-Gray , My firstborn one of my heart’s greatest treasures.

Being your mom and having the privilege of watching you grow, day by day, has been one of the greatest gifts God could ever have given me. From the moment you came into my life, you changed a part of my heart forever — a part that will always belong to you.

I thank God for hand-selecting me to be your mother, and for hand-selecting you to be my son. I know there is purpose in the way He brought us together, and I am endlessly grateful that I get to walk beside you as you discover the man He created you to be.

I am so incredibly proud of you — not only for what you achieve, but for the person you are becoming. My prayer is that the Lord will guide your steps, shape your heart, strengthen your character and lead you into everything He designed for your life.

May He always be the primary source of your character, your wisdom, your strength and your identity. May you never forget where your gifts come from, and may your life always point back to the One who gave them to you.

And wherever life takes you, always remember this: you were chosen, you are deeply loved, and you will forever be one of the greatest treasures of my heart.
