2025 REEL // It’s been a couple years since I’ve put out an updated highlight reel of my work. Over the last several months I’ve been making an effort to break into the golf industry as a freelancer, and while that kind of thing can take a while, I’ve been very fortunate to get some amazing editing opportunities on cool projects with new clients in the golf space. I can’t wait to share them with you. Great stuff coming soon! There are a few clips from golf projects in this reel, but the best golf work I’ve done is coming soon. Will share more when I can. In the meantime, if you or anyone you know is looking for an experienced freelance editor to collaborate with on a project, feel free to DM me or reach out through the contact form at JOELLORNE.COM (link in bio). New work⚡️MAVERICK for @golfersjournal⚡️Link in bio, more details below 👇

In Spring of 2025, @caseyfbannon from The Golfer’s Journal invited me to jump on board with this amazing project about legendary course architect Mike Strantz. They provided me 2 years of interviews, course B-roll & 40 hours of archival VHS footage from the 90’s, and I was off to the races. I was tasked with editing, sound design & color, and had the privilege of leaning on director @carlsturgess along the way. Big shoutout to DP @jasonjohnjahnke, and every other shooter on this project.

Cheers,
Joel

The fine folks @golfersjournal asked me to throw together a little promo edit for their Broken Tee Society attire launch. The textures and styles are timeless 🤌🤌🤌 I bought the blue cardigan as soon as the store went live… Just in time for the 115° days that June in AZ provides 😎 by @joel.lorne

I took the original footage from the TIGER X NIKE “Swing Portrait” ad (circa 2006), and reimagined it for the modern golf sicko. Hope you dig my remix of this classic commercial.

PS — I’ve got some exciting projects dropping soon. Stay tuned!
