Lot’s of learnings - First european championship is over and honestly wow, that was a lot. Mixed feelings. - I leave this tournament with more enthusiasm than ever for the sport after getting a sense for the level thats possible to play on. Yet also with lot of self-critique, which turned into many learnings for my future in the world of sports. At first i really was disappointed in myself, the team, my reaction on certain things and so on yet i guess reality is defined on how we decide to perceive it. So my concrete learnings are: - in game confidence has to have internalized roots in God - i’ve got to remind myself of that - also for the sake of regeneration & performance - I need to learn how to be a better leader !!! - to give each situation it’s worth and see it in the moment grounded - my style of play has to be more aggressive instead of fear-based. - fight for quietness and silence! Thanks a lot team! So dang grateful. fr. by @joelhauck
few weeks worth of thought and prayer in a couple words. by @joelhauck
between departures and arrivals, i found the time to simply be. - As exciting as it sounds to always be on the road, it honestly takes a lot out of me. - Five months of constant traveling, national team, military service, studying psychology, planning a wedding, looking for an apartment, moving out, keeping relationships plus growing my relationship with God... and the list goes on. - It’s challenging for me to always be away, to show up for the people I love, and to not burn myself out. This post is a reminder—mostly for myself—to keep focusing on the little moments, even when life feels overwhelming, like it did at the start of the summer. - The last trip of the summer starts tomorrow, and I’m really looking forward to finally being back home afterward. - But first... European Championship, here I come! 🇪🇺🏆 by @joelhauck
