You taught me to keep moving through the hardest times. And this lesson has consumed me to a fault. You taught me to laugh in the saddest moments and to give all my worry to God. I will never quite understand why you had to go so soon, even in the final months, weeks and days I held on so tightly to the illusion that you’d never leave and we still had so much to see together, so much to laugh about, so many more lessons to learn. I’m still trying to make our time together feel more valuable than the time lost but I’m not sure if I’ll ever find that balance. I miss the smile that lit up every room and the laugh that knew no bounds. Thank you for showing me a strength that I can still survive on even after you. Thank you for the abundance of love.
