My love letter to Philly 🥹

My first home away from home and where I found love, met my best friends, ate amazing food, and had countless memories. I’m sad to go, but my Father has a new exciting mission for me. He keeps my life very interesting! Stay tuned to see how the plot thickens 🕺🏾 taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @joelolujide

This is Gaeng Rawaeng (basically a Thai curry) with Basmati Rice, Parathas, and a Thai-inspired salad! Swipe to see the process.

This is probably the most complicated dish that I’ve made in at least a year. Maybe because I’m in a bigger kitchen than I was in my college apartment, or maybe because post-grad I have so much time on my hands. Anyways, I hope you all enjoy my first food post in almost 3 years 🥹 there’s more to come so get ready for it!

Back in the 8th grade, I decided that I wanted to open a restaurant. I also decided that I wanted to do whatever it took to get into the Wharton School to pursue a business education in order to help me fulfill that dream. I can only thank God where that decision has taken me.

On May 15th, I graduated cum laude with honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania concentrating in Management and Finance. To be honest, I didn’t really know what I was going to learn once I entered Wharton, and I had no game plan of what I would do once I entered back in 2019. But the Lord guided my steps and opened tremendous doors for me, took me to places I could have never imagined, made me rethink my wildest dreams, and put very important people in my life who I believe will be around for a long time 🥹

I have too many people to thank for this amazing experience at this institution. While 4 years have been great, this is just the beginning of my story! We move! taken in University of Pennsylvania by @joelolujide
