6 months since Dan was assaulted & a much overdue update 🫶🏼After suffering a severe traumatic brain injury & being told from the dr’s they weren’t sure if he’d make it, having half his skull removed, a week in a coma, and a long road through rehab learning how to do the simplest things again - the progress he has made is nothing short of incredible! A true credit to his attitude, resilience and determination. I think this video speaks for itself. Every step forward has been so hard earned. We are so proud of you @danphillips626_ !! Thank you will never be enough to the whole healthcare team and everyone else who has reached out & supported. We are so grateful 🤍He still doesn’t yet have his skull back in, but hopefully very soon 🤞🏼 by @joelphillips31_

Toowoomba ProMX 📍 16th Overall in the 450 class. It’s no easy task working full time and showing up on the weekend to race the best guys in the country so I’m happy with where I’m at with only a few weeks on the 450. Thanks to @teamx.l.r for helping me all weekend ! by @joelphillips31_

I don’t even have the words to explain this feeling. I just wish I never was writing this. I made sure I was there with you right till the end as you would do for me. You lived for that sport and put your whole heart and soul into it. You were one of the best mates someone could ever ask for. I’ll miss the banter, days together riding, the days of you rocking up 2 hours late too absolutely everything but most importantly I’ll miss the unreal guy you were. Unreal experience on the weekend at the first round of AUS SX.
