Before School House, I wrote and recorded a few songs and released them under my name. They definitely feel like a time capsule back to my early twenties in some ways. They’ve also never been played live before so I made a deal with myself that I had to play these songs live at least once before I exited my twenties (still got a couple years to go but life gets crazy lol). So I rounded up the best musicians I could think of (who just so happen to also be in @schoolhouseband ) and we’ll be playing these tunes live for the first time ever tomorrow night @cassette.613 ! Not sure if/when this will happen again so come out if you like hearing indie dad rock tunes and some pentatonic scale shredding! 🤘🏼🎸

The night will also feature the greats @thehayloftersband @hobbyisaband @mistakenforwayne so we’re in for a goood time 🤩

I’ve been looking for a reason to post this picture and I figure this man’s birthday is as good a reason as any 💥

Happy Birthday to this song-writin’, bass-slappin’, harmonica hummin’, banjo pickin’ friend of mine 🍻
