Art for @cw_arrow. We shot this one for one of the early seasons of Arrow. This was taken in a sound stage on the Warner Bros lot. We spent a lot of time designing the lighting we used for this shot as well as some variations to this light so that we had some options that could quickly be changed with the limited time we had with @stephenamell (who was great to work with). We love the results. And one of the alternative shots to this ended up on the exterior of the Warner Bros lot as a huge print. Throwback to a cover shoot for @inkedmag with @nyjah. For this shoot we wanted to go for the dramatic and moody, but could still show off Nijah’s ink. We landed on the cover concept of Nyjah emerging from smoke with a mix of warm and cool color lighting. We also shot a concept of him agains a cool tone background, but more shadowy lighting. Lastly a look with a bright on camera flash look that felt more raw. Nyjah was a great collaborator, always willing to give our ideas a try. Shot at and with the support of @edge_studios. Remembering Chester Bennington who we lost on this day in 2017. This was one of our best memories as professionals. We were photographing Chester for a PETA campaign.
