One of my favorite things to do as a hairdresser is cut another hairdresser’s hair. There’s something about that trust and knowing they understand the details that makes the process even more fun.

For this cut, we kept the length around the shoulders, added soft, lived-in layers and movement throughout, and finished it with a full, textured fringe that frames the face without feeling too perfect. The goal was effortless shape, natural texture, and something that still feels easy to wear.

Summer’s pretty much over, but I wasn’t ready to let the beach bob go flat just yet.

Cut with a series of dry cutting techniques to create that soft, lived-in shape, with texture and movement throughout. Kept the weight where it needed to be and took out what didn’t.

A little look at a cut I created a few weeks ago on @caroline_newby for an @oribepro class taught by @cobywon and @gardneredmunds.
