I’m excited to announce that I’ll be staying in my hometown to play the game I’ve loved since the first time I picked up a bat. I would like to thank Coach Peets and the SC4 baseball staff for this opportunity. I also want to thank all of my past and present coaches and teammates. Most importantly, I want to thank my parents and my sister for all the sacrifices they’ve made and the constant support they’ve given me, allowing me to continue playing the game I love. I am beyond grateful to be 100% committed to continuing my baseball career while furthering my education at SC4. Go Skips!! ⚾️💙💛#godisgreat by @joesep_27

Dear Football,
I don’t even know how to put into words on how much this sport has meant to me. From the very first time I put on the pads, I had no idea how much of an impact football would have on my life. Football gave me a purpose, a family, and memories I’ll hold onto forever. I still remember being that nervous freshman getting called up to varsity, not knowing what to expect but giving it everything I had. Then came the low point, tearing my ACL my junior year and wondering if I’d ever step on the field again. It made me take a different perspective on life. It taught me to appreciate every snap, and every practice. Coming back for my senior season was more than just football. It was about proving to myself that I could play again without getting hurt, that I could still have the leadership I once had, and still love this game the same way I always have.
To my brothers, thank you for making every second worth it. To the underclassmen, keep this bond alive, play every game like it’s your last, because one day it will be. And to my coaches, thank you for believing in me, for teaching me lessons that go way beyond the field. #onceaBIGREDalwaysaBIGRED by @joesep_27

These past four years have flown by faster than I ever could have imagined. Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of playing baseball with my hometown friends, high school baseball gave me that opportunity. This year, we built a bond that no one will ever be able to break. I’ve had my fair share of adversity along the way. From partially tearing my Tommy John ligament during my freshman year to tearing my ACL in the fall of my junior year, there were times when things could have gone differently. Through it all, I’m proud to say I never missed out on a high school baseball game. I want to thank my teammates and coaches for everything this season. We accomplished something special together, having the best season at PHHS since 2015. We have nothing to hang our heads about team 158. I’ll always be grateful for the memories, friendships, and experiences we shared. Once a Big Red, always a Big Red. ⚾❤️✝️#Trustgod #19🫶🏼 by @joesep_27
