Competed at the Kabuki Northwest Showdown last weekend, didn't necessarily have the meet I wanted, Squats went 1/3, got an easy 650 opener but 700 and 705 were no goes. Bench went great, went 3/3 with 457, 490 and 507, feels great to finally get 500 in comp, hopefully it'll be a little cleaner next time.Deadlifts were also not great went 1/3 with 661, 711, 711, just failed on grip both times. Still, managed to total 1818 and beat my old wrapped total.Thanks to @nickfisherpower for giving me the best prep of my life and to @woody.walker and @mary.sins for all the support and fun over the weekend. #powerlifting #squats #benchpress #deadlift by @joetallan

639x4 at around a 7, depth still needs work but we're getting there. Hard to believe two months ago I thought I would never squat 600 again. Big thanks to everyone at Elevate Barbell for keeping me positive and motivated.#powerlifting #squat #uspa by @joetallan

Pretty solid 300 kilo squat, feels strange to be back in wraps again after 8 months. Technique will take some ironing out but looking forward to hitting 700+ again soon. Thanks to @powerofwill_ @bryce_tsa and @natalie.907 for the spot! by @joetallan
