Here’s my petition to get this song in Kung Fu Panda 4 🐼

fun fact: Cee Lo and Jack Black’s version of “Kung Fu Fighting” was actually a big inspiration for the production on this one 🥋

So…I went to my first award show and this happened 🤯

Absolutely SPEECHLESS. Thanks so much to @timwncfc @newmusicgenerator and everyone who helped put together such an amazing night for all of us up and coming artists. Navigating this music thing can leave you feeling like you’re wandering alone through a forest at times, so to have all of us come together in a single room to celebrate each other’s music WITH eachother was so fulfilling 🙌

Congrats to the other nominees in all categories, to even be nominated alongside the talent in that room last night was a genuine honour. I loved meeting some of you too and am excited to check out more of your music! 🎵

Finally a special thanks goes to @r3b3ccamay - I met Rebecca around 3 years ago back when she was hosting BBC Introducing in Cambridgeshire and she’s been supporting my music ever since. Her passion for music shines through in every single show she hosts and even in the conversations we’ve had, and to even hear her say my name and play my songs on the radio is like a Time Machine that takes me back to that feeling of when I first started getting radio play. It’s still as exciting as ever and I can’t thank you enough Rebecca - I’m forever grateful🙏 #nmgawards24

Not many songs of mine make me feel “cool”…but this one definitely comes close! New song OWLDINARY…I mean ORDINARY MAN out now (and there goes any essence of cool 😅).

It was a pleasure making this one with @sotellthestory - fun fact we actually made this for Daredevil Born Again Season 2 but they didn’t pick it so we decided to just release it ourselves. So when you listen to this instead of picturing me holding owl…picture Daredevil kicking butt and taking names in a long dark hallway 🕺

new song ORDINARY MAN with @sotellthestory is out this Friday!
SWIPE TO HEAR MY BRAIN WHIRRING ➡️

It’s a tale as old as time, you make a song on a computer, get lost in the sauce and then have to work backwards to figure out how to play the thing 🤣 this song has been 2+ years in the making - glad it’s finally seeing the light of day. Hope you guys love it like we do 🔥

My third album Important Pretending is out now! 💿✨
This one feels so special — in some ways, it’s like releasing my first album all over again. Before I even started making it, I promised myself it would be my best yet… and honestly, I really believe it is.

This project has been over 3 years in the making, and it’s the first time I’ve truly managed to tap into all the sounds that inspire me — from big ballads to energetic pop rock to the fun, upbeat acoustic indie pop that’s become my niche.

There’s even a track with @m_shinoda from Linkin Park, and a duet with my dad — two collaborations I’ll treasure forever.

I’d like to think there’s something for everyone on this one — but ultimately, I made this one for me.
Thank you for listening. 💙

Specials thanks to:
@shadplaysdrums @artymartha @simon_mooty @thefloragod @georgekaymusic_ for additional musical contributions, artwork and etc too.

Your friendly neighbourhood, 0x Grammy-nominated indie pop artist, signing off once again — until next time 👋

As well as writing and producing songs for myself, some of you might know I’ve also been creating theme songs and jingles for brands, podcasts, and video games over the past few years.

Naturally, that led me into writing music for moving picture — TV and film. Like all areas of the music industry, it’s incredibly competitive, but I’ve always loved the idea of hearing something I created on the big screen. And honestly, writing to briefs is SO much fun.

Fast-forward to today: I just found out I’ve been shortlisted for the Composer Spotlight Award at this year’s Production Music Awards, which is such an honour. 🤯

Huge thanks to the @productionmusicawards team for putting me forward, and to all the amazing companies I’ve been lucky enough to work with — thanks for bringing such exciting opportunities my way.

And also… NEW SONG THIS FRIDAY 🚀
