I Recently went to a men’s seminar, and I feel like God opened something up to me in the gentlest way possible. It really left me sitting there thinking about my life, the things I’ve done, and the things that may need to change.

I had been praying about this and just hoping to have an open mind and an open heart, even if it was a message I had heard before.

I’m just grateful. I’m grateful that God answered my prayer in that moment.

and I wanted to share this reflection with y’all.

Maybe this analogy can help you with whatever you’re dealing with too. Maybe it doesn’t hit you the same way. Maybe this really was just for me.

But I felt like it was worth sharing.

Six years ago, I started this journey thinking a degree was the goal.

Somewhere along the way, I realized the degree was only part of the story.

The classrooms, the internship, the early mornings, the questions, the setbacks, and the people God placed in my life, they all shaped me in ways a diploma never could.

I came into college thinking a degree was my way out.

I came into college not knowing Jesus.

I leave with a degree, but more importantly, I leave knowing Him personally.

This isn’t the end. It’s simply the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. by @joewrldd_

Sat through a message this weekend that really had me reflecting after it ended.
I caught myself thinking about how easy it is to let certain thoughts and desires just sit in your head without realizing what they’re doing to you.

It made me slow down and really look at what I’ve been giving my attention to mentally and spiritually.
Not from a place of guilt, just wanting to grow and stay aligned.

I felt like it was worth sharing.
Sometimes we don’t even realize what’s shaping our hearts until we take a step back and really think about it.
