Last but not least, a moment for the dress. From the bottom of my heart, a huge thank you to Simply White Bridal. Ellie truly made my vision come to life. We took an already stunning @annebarge dress and made it completely my own with the addition of a custom, hand-beaded topper. Long sleeves, intricate beading, and buttons down the back designed to perfectly complement the details of the dress.

From the very beginning, Ellie understood exactly what I was envisioning and somehow made it even better than I imagined. Every little detail was so thoughtfully designed, and seeing it all come together for the first time was a moment I’ll never forget. I truly felt like the dress was made for me.

And the best part… the Ashley Topper is now available at @simplywhitebridalny. 🥹🤍 Knowing that a piece created for my wedding day now gets to be part of other brides’ stories makes it that much more special.

Wedding Photos: Part 1 🤍

We’ve been holding onto these privately for quite some time because we weren’t ready for this chapter to end. Now that we’re only a few days away from our 6-month wedding anniversary, I think it’s finally time to share them.

The magical part of your wedding day no one really tells you about: the getting-ready hours. Dancing around with your best friends, drinking mimosas, music blasting, and soaking in every second before the day begins. The little moments that somehow become some of the biggest memories.

3 months married. 3 months of the greatest love I’ve ever known.

The second you get engaged, the questions start immediately.

“When’s the wedding?”
“What kind of dress do you want?”
“Have you picked a venue?”
“Where’s the honeymoon?”

And somewhere along the way, I realized I never really had answers for any of those things.

I wasn’t the girl with a Pinterest wedding board. I never had a dream dress picked out, a color palette saved, or a bucket-list honeymoon destination I’d imagined for years.

I didn’t know exactly what I wanted the day to look like. But I knew exactly what I wanted it to feel like.

I wanted a love so undeniable that I’d wake up on my wedding morning without hesitation.
A love I would never second guess.
A love that replaced nerves with certainty.
The kind of love where walking down the aisle didn’t feel scary, it felt like something I wanted to run toward.

And with Joe, I got that. Plus so much more.

When I said “I do,” I knew with every part of me that I was making the greatest decision of my life.

That feeling was all I ever truly wanted.

What I didn’t realize was that along the way, I’d meet people who would turn that feeling into art.

@the.lannin staff bent over backwards to make our day perfect. @simplywhitebridalny made me feel more beautiful than I ever have in a dress. @argbeautyy had me glow while still looking completely like myself. @emiliedoesmyhair somehow created the most elegant bun that survived an entire night of dancing. @lisounddj curated the soundtrack to one of the most important nights of our lives. @flowersbyburton & @alphalitlongisland transformed the room with breathtaking light displays and centerpieces. @teeteestreats4you made 200 favor boxes & executed every crazy craft request I had. And last but not least @a.plus.jay & @capturedmems_ captured the rawest, most emotional moments without ever being intrusive or making the day feel staged.

People say it takes a village. Ours felt more like a city.

So from the bottom of my heart, thank you to every single person who played a part in making that day feel the way it did.

And to my husband, my greatest answered prayer, let’s celebrate a million more🤍 taken in Long Island, NY by @joeyfemia
