We’ve been dealing with a lot of emotions, akin to the stages of grief, over the last week. I’ve lost sleep, ranted to my therapist, and cried with my doctor who specializes in LGBTQ+ healthcare. These are fact about what republicans in power HAVE DONE, and with Trump currently unable to seek reelection in 2028, can do with Majorities in EVERY BRANCH. Unchecked, unlimited power. Denying these facts and possibilities does equate to willful ignorance. We’re trying to warn you, and shouldn’t have to beg to be heard. Tomorrow marks 6 months since we got married and this was the moment we saw each other before the ceremony. FUN FACT: I was DEAD SET AGAINST having a first look. I had the idea that I wanted that “moment” of seeing my husband walk towards me at our ceremony to be the first time I saw him that day. I gave in because EVERYONE recommended and the day’s schedule demanded we do a first look and photos before the ceremony. Thank GOODNESS we did. I wouldn’t have survived. Coming home to you everyday is what I look forward to ALL day. And our wedding day was the HAPPIEST day of my life. Love you Hubsband. Happy Mother’s Day to my glamorous, strong, persistent, feisty, and loving momma. The moment we shared at the wedding was one of my happiest memories from the happiest day of my life. You sang “our song” in my ear while we danced, and remembering it still brings tears to my eyes. It was a moment we pictured since I was 12 years old, brought to life, and it was more special than I could have ever imagined it would be.
