yes, we got to see beauty beyond comprehension and had a ton of fun
but what God did on this trip could not be photographed, captioned or videoed

the gospel was preached, the spirit of God moved and touched places and people that have previously been barren to His Spirit and His name

we got a piece of God’s heart for Vietnam and it’s people

Jesus marked us and showed up with His power, redemption and freedom

we unashamedly got to be ourselves we walked in true fellowship, community and communion with God

and the people i got to do this with was a gift straight from God’s hand, an honor i will forever cherish taken in Vietnam by @johane_fritz

got to host a group trip with my friends in vietnam!

i don’t have the words to describe what we got to experience and how glorious this time was!
psalm 8 does feel like a good start…

1 O Lord, our Lord, your majestic name fills the earth!
Your glory is higher than the heavens.
2 You have taught children and infants
to tell of your strength,
silencing your enemies
and all who oppose you.
3 When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers—
the moon and the stars you set in place—
4 what are mere mortals that you should think about them,
human beings that you should care for them?

and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You gave them charge of everything you made,

this night was marked with freedom, healing, salvations, fresh zeal and God’s heart for the nations!

i am just a little girl who said yes to Jesus and i will keep on saying yes, for the rest of my days

Jesus Himself is the only one found worthy!
He is worthy of giving Him everything

my whole life, my every second and every breath is His

i have found everything i have ever needed and desired in Him

what a God we have that delights in us, a God that actually desires for us to rest with Him - no work, no performance, no earning, just being with Him, just delighting in His presence and His beauty!

within the intricacies and the beauties of this world, the Father’s fingerprints are all over it

and what a blessing to be part of a family that is marked by Him
that know Him
that love Him dearly

my life is evidence of generational blessing
i get to live beneath the sails of those who have paved a way before me

alhoewel ek meeste van my lewe groot geword het in die stad,
is daar ‘n deel van wie ek is gevorm hier, op die plaas

op die grondpad, met die gebler van skape deur die dag, die gedreun van trekkers deur die landerye, die bulk van die beeste in die drukgang, die reuk van rou vleis, die plaashuis, die smaak van pap en wors, die oopte, die prag

ek is lief vir die plaas, ek is lief vir die lewe hier op die plaas, die eenvoud, die lekkerte.

ek word weer geanker in die alomteenwoordige God
die almagtige God wat na die berge en die skape en die landerye omsien maar ook die genadevolle God wat nader trek in die stil briesie van die vroeë môre.

ek kom uit die haas, kom weg van die rotte-resies-geraas en ek sien weer duidelik waaroor die lewe gaan, wat is nou eintlik belangrik.

alles is daar om Hom te verheerlik en te verhoog, niks en niemand anders nie.
die lewe gaan daaroor om die goeie en getroue dienskneg te wees.

dit gaan daaroor om nie so besig te wees met die dinge van die Here dat jy die Here van die dinge misloop nie.

dit gaan oor Jesus

Hy is in alles,

ek slaan my oë op na die berge, waar sal my hulp vandaan kom, my hulp kom van die Een wat die hemel en aarde geskep het. taken in Vrystaat by @johane_fritz
