My mom is an amazing woman. She’s wild, funny, and free. She’s kind to everyone she meets and tries to snuggle every dog she sees.

I’m lucky to have been raised by such a wonderful friend, a sharp thinker, and a brilliant soul.

Being a mom myself now, I always strive to be the kind of loving, passionate, and inspiring role model she was for me.

Motherhood is a magical, unpredictable, beautiful journey and I’m grateful for every part of it.

I love to dance. To feel alive in my body and grounded in my space.. Dance can create joy and intimacy without any interference from the issues that so often divide us. Whether by yourself, with a partner, or with a whole crowd of people, I hope you dance - to release inhibitions, move freely without judgement, and allow your magic to flow!

Earth Day has always been one of my favorite days.

Really every day should be Earth Day, but for some reason our society undervalues this beautiful planet we’re lucky enough to call home.

My hope is that this post reminds you to put down your phone, step out in the world, and do a little good for mother nature (and yourself!) today.
Hint- you could do it again tomorrow!

This is a snippet from #CANDLE, a musical film I wrote and directed for songstress Jamae Mae in 2017.

This project was created to spark conversation to #enddomesticviolence. 161 crowdfunding supporters helped get this made and the production team that came together was exquisite!!

I’ve been applying for several Director Programs that are designed to turbo charge my career. In the process, I’m reviewing all my material. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done from the director’s chair, and #CANDLE is no exception.

I’m honored to be part of a powerful Earth Day panel hosted by the radiant @siribaructhornton on The Authentic Creative podcast. This soul-nourishing conversation drops TODAY, and I can’t wait for you to tune in.
