✨ A Bealtaine blessing... Growth, the ancestors and living your desires.Friday was Bealtaine, (meaning mouth of the fire). It is time of bursting growth, fertility and passion. This year it also fell on a full moon, so I consider that double fruitfulness and blessings. I was lucky enough to celebrate it here in Ireland at my spiritual home (see below if you want to know more). We held a magical outdoor dance with fire ceremony and ritual. I was literally dancing with my ancestors.My female ancestors have passed down generations worth of plant knowledge, and this special garden is the repository of much of it. When I come to this garden, this land, my connection to the Earth and to my ancestors is renewed. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨This painting represents the garden.Many of my female ancestors had to live within its confines, within the tame garden rather than the wilderness. And from this they created beauty, food, nourishment, joy. They worked with Nature to produce something delicious.Not all my ancestors had the chance to voice their desires, never mind to live them out loud, so I have made the commitment to live mine, and theirs too, where I can.I painted this as an homage to them, an honouring of their lives and knowledge, the joys we share, and the ways they continue to guide me.✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨A Bealtaine blessing May your desires bloom and blossom. May the objects of your attention increase and delight you. May you be blessed with growth and pleasure. Big Serpent Energy🐍 It's time for the 2nd solar calendar print release. 🐍This season's theme is Big Serpent Energy. I've chosen three cosmic snake paintings.🐍 They will only be available for six weeks. DM me to buy.🐍 I'll take care of the rest, including the cost of shipping. 🐍 I always keep the original proportions of the painting so the dimensions vary slightly, but are approximately A3 (297 x 420 mm / 11.7 x 16.5 inches).🐍 Printed at the best profession art printers, they are of the best possible quality. Expect saturated colour on beautiful textured paper. 🐍They are available until 31st July, but there are a limited number of each, so if you know the one you want, go for it.
