The legs turned up. The skinsuit gave up 😂

Much better sensations on Peth Bank after a frustrating Saturday at Wear Bank. 446 watts for 4:26 and a closer battle with Adrian, who took the win 👏

Snapped my skinsuit zip before the start, so winter kit it was. Not quite the optimum setup I’d planned 🙈

Thanks to @outlandsproject for a great morning of racing. Next stop, Prospect Hill!

Wear Bank, Wolsingham - a new climb on the calendar in a stunning spot on the edge of the North Pennines.

Steep start, windy conditions and a tailwind towards the finish - 2nd place 🥈

Great ride by Adrian to take the win, and a cracking event from @zurbaranracing 👏

Back to The Struggle ⛰️ One of the best events on the hill climb calendar, with a crowd that makes that solid final section something special!

12 seconds shy of my PB, 11th overall and the team win for Muckle with Adrian and Harry🏆

So windy they had to shorten the Allen Valley Hill Climb course 🌬️

A 3.2km fight into a block headwind on rough roads. Andrew Feather was in a different league, but I was happy to finish best of the rest in 2nd overall.

@mucklecc winning team prize too 🏆

Bikepacking to two hill climbs seemed like a good idea…

North Shields → Allendale HC → Ambleside → The Struggle HC → home.

Best of the rest behind Andrew Feather on Saturday, then 11th overall on Sunday.

Two races, one loaded bike and a belter weekend 💯

Borderlands Gravel from the rider’s eye view 📹

After Saturday’s wild wind and biblical rain, Sunday delivered: fast tracks, big views, brilliant trails and some September sunshine across the Yorkshire Dales.

Struggle: Borderlands - 2 hard days out with road on Saturday and the tough as nails gravel loop on the Sunday 😮‍💨

Saturday was bleak with strong winds and rain, Sunday couldn’t have been more different for the gravel ride with sun and warm temps 🤷🏼‍♂️

A solid weekend of riding 🔨
Back to hill climbs this weekend with Allen Valley on Saturday followed by another Struggle (Ambleside version!) on Sunday!
