Back at it after the big trip to Istanbul. Haven’t trained in almost 3 weeks now. Lost some weight and some strength (always happens…). But makes it more fun and engaging. To have a short -really short- term goal, to get back up to where I was before the trip. Lots of eating!! 🍔🍟

Istanbul - the city of smart business, and absolute convenience (amongst countless other beautiful things!!!!) 🧿♥️🤩🤩
Got myself this custom battle vest!
You pick out the patches (was hard!! too many great bands/options!!) tell the shop owner where each one will go, she sews them on for you (the amazing lady in the picture!)), you come by the next day and pick up your vest!!
Turned out much better than I thought!!! Love it!!! 🔥 🔥 🤘🏼🤘🏼

Istanbul - Bosphorus Metal Fest was just clutch!!!
Fantastic venue, great production, amazing line up, brilliant crowd!! Was extra special to be raging with my brother, and fellow countrymen - in my hometown!! After all these years!!

Here’s to hoping stars will align again and I’ll be back here at this time next year! 🤘🏼🤘🏼

2nd training session in Istanbul.
(Paused dl’s, bench, and landmine-ish rows)
Poor sleep (less than ideal conditions in the condo, the mattress, traveling within the country), and way less than ideal nutrition (missing meals due to excursions, being out and about, partying with family and friends), and tasting different adult beverages/cocktails while here… 😁
Doing what I can. Despite all that (and not having my SBD belt with me here), weights haven’t been bad! Not bad at all!

Different country, new gym, bad jet lag (still), sleep deprivation (still), lots of walking around & naughty eating, don’t have my sbd belt, no knee sleeves… 😩
Still managed to rep (x3 and x4) about my 90%!
I was happy!
(Many thanks to the PT who hyped me up and spotted me! 🙏🏼)
