I've got loads of comments regarding this cover. As I said before I simply can't perform a song unless I can connect with it emotionally. It's not fair to the song or the listeners.Im delighted my instincts strike the chord with the listener. Anyway as always I appreciate the feed back a delighted you like it. by @john.lynch.official

"As a folk singer, my job isn't just to entertain — it's to hold a mirror to the world and sing about what it reflects." by @john.lynch.official

This song came from watching the ground shift under people’s feet ,homes turned into assets, communities hollowed out, and ordinary lives squeezed between rent, debt, and quiet desperation.
Bricks & Mortar is about more than buildings.
It’s about what happens when the things meant to shelter us start to weigh us down.
When belonging gets priced out.
When the walls go up but the foundations crack.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re doing everything right and still falling behind , this one’s for you.
Listen. Share. Sit with it.
These are the times we’re living in.

Delighted to announce I’ll be playing the back room at The Cobblestone this November.

Our last show there sold out, so get your tickets early. Link is in my bio and also on Eventbrite.

These nights are always special: songs, stories, a bit of craic, a few singalongs, and the kind of atmosphere you only get in a room full of people who came to really listen. It means a lot to have people supporting original Irish music and local artists, so come along, bring a few friends, and make a night of it.

I’m also delighted to have the mighty Jem Mitchell supporting on the night. An unbelievable performer and absolutely not to be missed.

See you in the back room. by @john.lynch.official

A huge thank you to all who came to the show last night in @araschronain . It was a special one. I tried my best to stick to the music, but the auld banter always makes an appearance. For me it's my meditation and healing I hope ye get something from my performance. Big love to all 😍 by @john.lynch.official
