It’s not easy being a coach’s son. And it is not easy for a coach to be the father of one of his players. It’s both challenging but rewarding.
To all the people that supported and contributed to the season, I thank you. To all of the people that doubted what we were doing, I thank you. Both camps served a purpose.
We’re so proud of you Gino, you had a dream and you had enough guts to chase it. Both of our son’s competitive playing careers ended in the same gym, in the same game (conference semi-finals). Some would think that’s ironic. I think it’s fate. My sons are and will always be my greatest achievement.
One door closes, another opens. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you “me boy”. You did good kid. taken in Hoop Dreams Basketball by @john.preziosa

This is a Gino Prez appreciation post.
My son! We are so proud of you. You showed us all grit and determination this season.
The bar is always set high for you and you never let us down. You made your brother proud by wearing his number, you made your mother proud by sticking with it when times got tough, and you made me proud by representing your last name with pride. The sky’s the limit for you G-man. Congratulations on a great basketball season. Take a week to rest and recover. Off-season is here. Time to get better. Always know how much we love ya kid and how proud we are of you. Nobody owns the game or your happiness. I’m proud to be your father. #teamprez taken in Melrose, Massachusetts by @john.preziosa

16 years ago today you came into this world and rounded out team Prez. Your mother knew you were going to be Gino from the moment we heard you were coming. You’re everything we wanted in a son. A great brother, a hard worker, a dreamer, a goodfella. The world is yours my son. Keep making us proud. We love you! @ginorpreziosa taken in Melrose, Massachusetts by @john.preziosa
