Bridge to Brisbane with the fam again this year. Tough run today but ran 44:13 and achieved my goal of sub 45min with Royce pacing me for most of it, and then I paced him for the last few k’s crossing the finish line together. Ash ran really well (sub 50 min) with Lilly napping in the pram and Leo did amazing too at around 60min. Proud of everyone for setting goals and smashing them 🙌

Gold Coast Marathon 2026 - 3:56:33 🏅

Very happy with how the run went today. Felt great for 98% of it (the other 2% not so much 😅) A lot of time training, blood sweat and tears to achieve my goal of sub 4hrs ✅

Thank you to all the complete strangers who yelled out my name 😂 But most of all thank you to my beautiful wife Ashlee who supports me in everything I do.

Today we remember and honour those who served and gave their lives.

“Lest we forget” comes from a poem by Rudyard Kipling, and it was originally a warning.

A reminder that when we become proud, trust in our own strength, and forget God… things don’t end well.

History shows that power doesn’t last, and neither do we.

So today we remember the sacrifice, and we take a moment to reflect.

What are we trusting in?
What are we building our lives on?

Tour de Brisbane 110km done ✔️

Not my main sport, but a solid challenge and good to push myself in something different. Cycling has been great cross training and I’ve really enjoyed my training rides lately.

Great company and a fun morning on the bike. Stoked with my result, now to focus on marathon prep 🏃 by @john__nguyen

Amazing day out on the reef yesterday at Lady Musgrave island. Weather was 10/10. Swam with a turtle. Saw lots of fish and coral. Highly recommend 👌
