Most people see a beautiful landscape.

We see the hands that built it.

On October 21, during Equip Expo week, we're gathering at Rabbit Hole Distillery in Louisville to found the First Light Fellowship. The people who have mastered this craft, passing what they know to the next generation of builders, designers and owners.

One evening for the people who care about what we build, how we build it, and what we leave behind.

Founded with Atlantic Oase, Green Foundry Co., Lumien, National Planter Supply and WAC Lighting.

Attendance is limited and every request is reviewed personally. Request your invitation at luma.com/m8r7dnkk

First Light. Be there when it begins.

If it can’t be built what’s the point? With AI and cheap design software anyone can now claim to be a designer. 30 plus years of designing and building these projects means they are designed with the idea of them actually being built in mind. Every last detail of how surfaces will come together and what materials allow for is taken into consideration. No “oops’s” or afterthoughts. What you see here is what you can expect and what you’ll actually get. #outdoorlivingatitsfinest™️ taken in Huntington, New York by @john_greenfoundryco

Quick gut check: when you bid a job, do you show the client everything that’s possible? Lighting, fire, water, an outdoor kitchen, the list goes on. Or do you wait and mention it later, if they even ask?

Big difference. Put it on the front end. Educate them on what’s possible, even if you have to break it into phases they can afford over time. You’re not upselling. You’re showing them the finished product instead of letting them guess.

That’s exactly what our friends at @greenfoundryco help contractors do, and they’ll be at the SynkedUP Contractor Summit in Pittsburgh, September 10–11.

Stop by, talk to @john_greenfoundryco and the team, and see how to elevate your outdoor spaces. Comment SUMMIT and I’ll send you the details to register.
