“Somehow We Found New Ways To Dream”
After 7 long, hardworking, beautiful years, I have left my forever home at PPAS. Anyone who knows me can attest to the passion I have for 328 West 48th Street and the people that inhabit it. Through these people and their kindness, wisdom, and strength, I have been made the person I am today. The people I have met are nothing short of family and have cemented themselves in my life forever. As I think back to my first year at PPAS, I remember feeling the same amazement upon reflecting on the work being done by those around me and myself. From James And The Giant Peach Jr. all the way through Company, I have evolved tremendously in ways no other place could force me to. The resilience fostered in this community is unlike anything I have ever seen. The encouragement from each academic teacher to the fundraising done in spite of massive budget cuts to the arts all inspired us to dare to make our own paths where others refuse to let us walk. I have been taught what it is to explore and do so in ways unheard of. Thank you to my friends, my teachers, and every person in this building. To everyone who was part of my journey here, inspiring me to keep pushing and keep moving forward. Thank you and I love you. You have certainly taught me New Ways To Dream. taken in PPAS NYC Professional Performing Arts School by @john_m_pitera
