Joining me Sunday will be the amazing @johnaltieri08 . It's musicians like this that make me glad I live in #NYC. Not only is he a great musician, he is a great guy. He absolutely rocks it when he plays the sousaphone, swinging the beast around while laying down such playful low end. He's been playing JANK with me for years, and the show on Sunday will start and end with some JANK. @joespub by @johnaltieri08

Saw Kaija Saariaho’s Innocence opening night 4/6 at the Met.
Stunning. Masterful in all the ways. Heavy, but remarkable. Hope we get the chance to talk about it in person. ✌️🥂 taken in The Metropolitan Opera by @johnaltieri08

Honor to contribute to the magic that was @cyrobaptista ‘s 75th birthday “Banquet of the Spirit” celebrations this weekend. Nothing short of highly original magical wizardry. An assemblage a-la Last Waltz, but Brazilian :) 🇧🇷 💚💛💙

Loved how she turned the “AOC” chant into “NYC” :) … No Kings but I’d take a 20 year Queen-reign by her anytime . :) 🙌🏽✌🏽
@redbaraat played the @zohrankmamdani rally @foresthillsstadium yesterday and it was a true treat to feel the energy of an empowered mass; let love & logic lead legislation.
Also vid of me impersonating @berniesanders walking past us backstage (minus the security) and returning my “Hello” 😂 .
We also jumped in and refrained with @resistancerevivalchorus for their rousing rendition of “Which Side Are You On” 🎶 . Blessed day. 🍁✨ by @johnaltieri08

I'm powering up the bullhorn harmonicas and the Moogs. I've told everyone that Monique Martin @intuitionnyc, put on the best NYC based international circus festival that been I have been part of in Harlem, and here she is stating a yearly festival! I'm excited to be a part of it with my amazing circus band with drummer @the1truegoiter and @johnaltieri08 on sousaphone, along with circus artists @ryanshinji @aerialalisa AJ Silver and the legendary @mrbindlestiff! We close out the night! #circus #composer
