POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m In It to Win It For the People of Elizabeth! 🇺🇸 as you know I’m running for Council Member At Large because I believe Elizabeth deserves better, and I’m ready to be part of the change our city needs. I’m a Christian, an influencer, and most importantly, a friend to the people of Elizabeth. I’m also adopted, and my story has taught me the importance of love, support, opportunity, and believing in yourself. I was born in Newark and raised all my life in Elizabeth. This isn’t just a city I live in, this is my home. It frustrates me when severe rainstorms leave residents dealing with flooded homes and damaged cars without the support they need. When snowstorms hit, residents shouldn’t have to wait days for their streets to be cleared and risk being unable to get to work. Our school system also deserves attention, accountability, and real solutions. These are real issues affecting real families, and I believe our residents deserve to be heard. If elected, I’ll ask the tough questions, demand answers, and challenge anyone who puts politics ahead of the people. I’m not running just to hold a title. I’m running to be a voice for residents who feel ignored and to help put Elizabeth first. My dedication to Elizabeth didn’t begin when I decided to run for office. Before this campaign, I collaborated with local restaurants to help get food out into the community, supported local businesses through my platform, and attended Elizabeth high school sports games to show our students that their community cares about them and their future. I’ve been showing up because I love this city and the people who make it special. I’m a proud Republican, but my commitment is to the people of Elizabeth. I believe in accountability, community involvement, and leadership that listens. I may not have every answer on day one, but I promise to listen, ask questions, and work hard to make sure residents have a voice. I’m in it to win it, but this is about more than winning an election. It’s about building an Elizabeth our families can depend on, our children can be proud of, and our residents can believe in.

How does this not scare anyone? There are also people on the Elizabeth City Council who have been in office for decades, too. We need accountability, transparency, and a government that puts its Elizabeth first!
I’ll speak up, call out the issues, and fight for the people of Elizabeth! This isn’t about being Republican or Democrat. It’s about standing up for our community, demanding accountability, and fighting corruption wherever it exists in Elizabeth, New Jersey! Our city deserves better! 🔴 Vote John Alves 8B

I may not have scored a goal, LOL 😂⚽️ but the most important thing was showing up for a GREAT cause! 🎀 Breast cancer affects so many lives, and every bit of awareness, support, and love makes a difference.
@itsjussadrii , you put together a PHENOMENAL event! 👏🏽🔥 And who said influencers can’t play soccer?! 😂⚽️ I might be better at making content, but never count me out on the field just! 🤣
