My mother fought extremely hard, she lead a great life and to this day still putting her children in positions to be successful. I’m extremely sad to announce we lost my mother, and “auntie” to so many in our community. Her earthy body passed away at 2:00 am on Monday. I’m the true definition of a mommas boy and I love it. RIP mom and know your son is handling things down here. They way you taught me to. Say hello to Grandma, Grandpa, and your sister. I love you ❤️🙏🏿 I’m so sad but I will be good please don’t worry about me 😪 the laughs in this video we shared and your voice will be listened to daily. You made me smile today and that’s progress to know I will be ok 😘 @wasssupdon__ miss you big dawg watch over everyone up there let them know I’m good. We will be celebrating her life and her birthday (2/15) on 2/19/2022. Details released soon ❤️ by @johnathan.lynch

Tonya & I met in 2006-2007 during our high school years. Somehow our friendship would grow into being best friends. So much so, we share the same God Child. Her family accepted me and helped heal me from the loss of my mother. I remember one time playing the game with Kev and she came home like wyd lol. I said I’m family now you stuck with me lol. She smiled and shook her head. We would get a kick out of going out having a good time and telling people “no we are best friends” people swore we dated. But that’s what real love and a true bond looks like. Simply Pure… On the day she was taken away from us she was struck by a drunk driver, driving on the opposite side of the interstate… We were texting from 8 pm that Friday until.. I called her around 12 am asking where she was. She stated she was leaving work and we stayed on the phone for about 15 mins and she said she would call me back. She called me back around 1:00 am. I asked “where are you” she stated just getting off on your exit I told her ok just stay on the phone until you get there safe.. (just for her safety and my anxiety) it was late and icy roads possible…. Then the worse thought came to existence. After she stated getting off near your exit I heard a bang. I called her name, Tonya! Tonya! With no response. But I heard her breathing. Then there was no breathing. She was being safe driving, as she was talking to me on her car speaker with her seat belt on. I know this because as she told me where she was near, we fled to the scene of the accident. Her car had been struck by a truck going the opposite way. With the help of others I was able to unlock her door, check her pulse, and perform CPR with the help of a nice lady who was driving by. She was devastated as Tonya was not responding. I saw my childhood friends mom hurt in the other vehicle and I checked on her as well contacting her daughter to let her know what happened. I then was able to contact the family and direct them to the hospital where Tonya was taken. I prayed so hard that the doctors and medics would save her, but that was not the case. Her last breaths were peaceful she did not suffer. It was instant. I love you so much Black🙏🏿❤️😪 by @johnathan.lynch

I am proud to announce the launch of Elite Mental Performance Academy with a free informational session in partnership with two elite trainers and Division 1 Athletes @mikethefitnessjunkie and @peninsulakid757 at Elite Mental Performance Academy we provide a detailed approach on building the Elite Student Athlete. My background not only as a Division 1 All State Athlete, but as Professional School Counselor, I have the knowledge, skills, and experience to teach your child how to be the best versions of themselves. As a previous Athletic Director I have the ability to organize and get the best out of my athletes. At this academy you will be partnered with an elite speed, agility, strength and conditioning coach. We take it a step further. I personally check grades, transcripts, and course selections to ensure your student athlete is setting themselves up with personal success. We provide in person and virtual study hall. I also provide students with mental health skill building techniques that will help create an overall composed and emotionally available child. We specialize in all sports and athletic training. If you are a parent looking to get your student into athletics or are already in route to the elite student athlete I recommend you come to this free session to ensure you are on the right path. This informational session is free for the community as we know times are hard. We want to create a family environment where your student athlete is focused, organized, and dedicated.
