Another day of gallivanting. This time we
went to Montecito which is the next town before Santa Barbara. Smaller than its glamorous neighbor, Montecito, has its own charm.
There are houses that were converted to book shops where the owners are local. Outdoor spaces with pillows of all shapes and sizes. Huge umbrellas both in and out course, coffee. Just across the street is the ocean which can be accessible by foot and not crowded. Picnic tables are free. For lunch we went to Ospi, which serves Italian food. The wine was from nearby independent winery. Went for happy hour bar hopping.. started at Clark’s oyster bar and ended at Ospi again. Blood is thicker than water, indeed! We all grew up in a compound of one clan “Santoses”. We had so much fun growing up!! We may not see each other often, but when we do, it’s like old times. Except we are adults now. When my brother Macy, cousin/uncle, Barkada and childhood friend came to visit us in LA after 35 years of no contact it was like non stop conversation, reminiscing the fast! An instant mini reunion here my humble abode!! I Can’t wait to see you all “a grand reunion” by @johnbigm
