Less than 1% of the world complete a marathon in their lifetime.

With the strength of God and support from my people .. I completed one. So many emotions going through this race. I’ve been preparing since February. Before this, the most I ran in one year was about 30 miles. I was not a runner by no means. The year’s not over yet and I’m sitting at 700+ miles now. It became something deeper than finishing a marathon. It became a turning point for my physical & mental health. The only reason I signed up in the first place was because a friend challenged me. Little did I know how much it’d change my life. Hard work & dedication pays off. This was only possible through the glory of God. All I can say is I’m grateful.

Thank you all @jasminemargaritac @annaisabrina @jc_swank 🙏🏼❤️ & also, I’m proud of you bro @ibejosito you pulled through given your unfortunate circumstances. You really defied the odds. You’ve pushed me beyond lengths you’ll never understand! Real life locker mate.🔒

Official Chip Time 5:16:59. This is not my last marathon .. I’m coming for sub 5. Then sub 4.

LOCKED IN!!🔒

I made the decision to give my life to You months ago. Today, I made the decision to take the physical step that represents this commitment. Baptism. I’m forever thankful & forever grateful. This journey has been so eye opening. I trust in you my Lord. All glory to You. Amen.🙏🏼🔒 by @johndrakeee

Training day!

Finally got my clipless pedals and the clip in shoes. Makes a huge difference. They weren’t as hard to clip in and out of off first ride too. I seen too many videos of people falling so this felt good to lock in on right away.
