Howdy. New song available. Rich Brotherton and I have been friends now for 15 years. We have worked in studio and on the stage. He was instrumental in me having any career in music. When I heard Rich had been diagnosed with ALS, I wrote this for him as a tribute. This song is about my first time in the recording studio with Rich and the feeling of making a record. One of the best and most talented guys, and I am lucky to call him a friend.

Well, damn. This was a nice surprise. Fortunate to do an interview with @jscrutchmer for @rollingstone last fall after Guy On A Rock came out and it sure is a fine feeling to see published. I’m grateful for the shine. I’m very proud of this record. Onward we go by @johnebaumann

I helped put together this little music series in Lake City, Colorado that kicks off tonight with Chris Knight! Bunch of talented acts will be rolling through @packersaloonandcannibalgrill over the next 5 Mondays. So if you’re in the area, go check these shows out. Lake City has had a long summer dealing with wildfires, so any patronage is very welcomed. My band and I will be closing it out on September 14. Viva Colorado. Lake City, Colorado. Highlight of my year. Grateful to return to this well kept secret. Wildfire be damned, we had a ball. Fly fishing, alpine loop 4 wheeling, excellent food, hospitality and libations. And a great show to boot. Massive thanks to the Adams and Jergens for hosting me once again. On the grid for posterity!
