Still a work in progress for the driver side but it holds the engine up!

Will be cleaning up and reinforcing it more, as well as raising the passenger side a little with a spacer block to even it out. Like I said before, I am by no means a fabricator or welder. Just using flux on 110 lol. At least I'm doing it.

But that's both mounts mocked up and the engine and trans together (and already taken out for flywheel and other mounting later)!

Flywheel comes in Friday along with exhaust. Trying to get everything else done before then to be able to throw it all back in.

Very excited on how it's going.

Maybe once it's all done we can make a jig or scan it to be able to reproduce better versions to sell.

First motor mount done for the stock FC subframe puck to the RX8 Renesis engine! Still using the factory 5 speed NA transmission in its stock location.

I am not a welder or fabricator by any means but I made sure to brace it up and it's thick steel so will definitely work.

The forum post has a dxf file that was created for mounts, but with the way the FC transmission pushes the engine forward I had to go custom.

First test fit of the Renesis 13b msp into the FC RX7 with the NA 5 speed transmission.

I pulled off the Renesis manual flywheel and replaced it with an automatic counterweight. Waiting on the flywheel to mount everything for the final time but this is to give me an idea of motor mounts.

Was going to use the rx8 mounts but they don't mount up well at all. So custom it will have to be.

It is a little high still can go down a smidge since I'm using wood to hold it up. May just barely clear the hood, but will probably space up the hood in the rear.

Spent a bit degreasing and power washing it today.

Can't really tell a difference in pictures but at least it will be less greasy to work on. Will use the cheat code oven cleaner on the inside of the trans to clean that when I can find some.

Engine is still for sale with ECU and harness if anyone is interested. Want to use the money for the swap and am in needs of funds. Also taking sponsorships still lol.

Big step towards what I want to get done for the FC. Pulled a perfect running engine, but going to be doing a Renesis swap on it so engine is up and out. I know it's controversial for some people but it will make the equivalent of a turbo II but still MA. As well as having even more potential for power. (Mr. Rad turbo manifold?)

Also for sale if interested. Want to use the money for parts I'll need for the swap.

Engine bay is disgusting so that will be next thing to do before taking to friends house to be ready for the swap.

Hoping to get it done by sevenstock that's the goal!

Been at this the last few days. A/c had a leak so temporarily removed. Also removed the power steering rack and switched to the rack out of the FC Front swapped FB race car, which I converted from power steering to manual. Also had new tie rod ends but one stripped out so it's just a mixture of stuff but it's finally back together. Will have to realign but that isn't a big deal.

Also hard wired in the underglow finally. by @johnfrakk

Side quest Saturday. Had a quick job for a carb rebuild on a 2000 Yamaha TTR250. Did a teardown and ultrasonic as well as new gaskets. by @johnfrakk

More and more f250 work.

Replacing drag links because I believe they are also bent, as well as pitman arm.

Turns out the seal on the steering box is complete missing so that would explain the leak.

Far cry from what the seller said was only needed a fuel pump and I beam. I've done radiator, fix hole in tank, fuel pump, filter, I beam, radius arm, radius arm bracket, radiator, grill, headlight, wheels/tires, air filter, brake master, brake line, and now what I'm doing currently.

It's a keeper truck so it will all hopefully be worth it (hopefully) by @johnfrakk
