POSTS STORIES REELS

This basement on Osborne Terrace was my first home. Newark, NJ—where the burden was loud, the air was heavy, and the struggle was real. I remember the late nights my mother worked, the times she left us with my aunt and uncle upstairs, doing everything she could to get us out. The basement wasn’t just where we lived—it was where people came to escape, to fall deeper, to lose themselves. I saw the empty crack bottles, smelled the urine at the end of our hall, and knew even as a kid… this wasn’t where I wanted to stay.

But struggle builds strength. Pressure creates beauty. Just like in art, the hardest moments shape the masterpiece. There were times where I almost became a product of my environment, but instead, I let it fuel me. My mother’s fight, her sacrifices, her unwavering belief that we could have more—that’s why I’m here today.

Every brushstroke I lay down, every piece I create, carries the echoes of where I’ve been and the gratitude for where I am now.

This is more than art. It’s proof that we are not defined by where we start, but by how we choose to rise.

✨I am TRULY GRATEFUL to Rihanna (@badgalriri) and my friend Leo 🕊️🙏🏿(RIP @chevyboy23___ ) who I served with in the military (US Marines). They hold a special place in my story. None of what you see on my Instagram happens without either of them. 95% of you wouldn’t know who I am nor would you see any of the art I create.

📖 Everything happens for a reason and someday I will tell the full story. In the meantime, I thought it would be cool to create this short video of the night that changed my life with hopes of inspiring whoever sees this to walk in their purpose.

🎞️Shout out to @theyloveewhit for capturing the first clip of this video 🙏🏿. 🏆✨

🎁 Looking for a unique gift idea? A custom portrait, pet painting, or a cherished memory on canvas can be a thoughtful way to celebrate someone special. I offer a variety of styles, sizes, and price points to fit your vision and budget.

⏳ But don’t wait too long! The holidays may seem far away, but creating a personalized masterpiece takes time — and I have limited spots open for custom paintings.

Nobody really talks about the strength it takes to keep believing when nothing seems to be moving. Some of the biggest changes in my life happened when it looked like nothing was happening. And now I understand why certain things couldn’t happen any sooner. by @johnhallstudio

After nearly 30 years, I returned to Guyana and documented the people, culture, and moments that inspired a new chapter of my art.

I’ve brought 8 of those stories together in one interactive Reel, including the experience that inspired my first painting in the series.

My guy @bigjaythebarber hit me up to create a painting of @wwebige and I can’t express just how dope this entire experience was. From being able to recreate such a monumental moment in E’s career on canvas to meeting and chopping it up with him… it was just too dope.

I remember passing by the WWF Headquarters as a child to watch my older cousin run track. We would walk up and down the bleachers collecting pennies we found on the floor. We thought we would be able to buy tickets on our way back home so we could meet our favorite wrestlers. 😂

FFWD to today, I am blessed to have people in my corner who truly go above and beyond to make moments like this happen when they don’t have to.

Much love Big E and Big Jay. It’s truly humbling. I can’t thank you enough. 💯

I’ve always had a deep appreciation for people who create, regardless of the medium.

Had the pleasure of creating this piece for my friend and fellow creative, @hitmakersteve .

Music and visual art are two different forms of expression, but there’s a lot of common ground between them. We both take ideas, experiences, and emotions and turn them into something people can connect with.

Much love to my brother for trusting me to bring this one to life! 🙏🏿

If you’re not familiar with his work, go check out @hitmakersteve and show him some love. The man makes MUSIC! 🎶🔥

Steam, skin, bubble bath, candlelight and silence. Sometimes a painting doesn’t just capture the scene, it seduces it.

The details are where it gets serious.

All painted by hand.

No dead space.
Even the heel had to tell part of the story.

And before all of that… it looked like this.
Tape. Paint. Patience.
Trust the process.

My good brother @wwebige stopped by the Art Bandit Studio to show love and check out some artwork.

They don’t come any more genuine and authentic than this man right here. Believe that! 💪🏿💯

Salute, my brother 🫡🏆✨
