Just a few of my favorite photos from Wednesday night @flounderbrewing (📸 @stephaniehurlphotography TY!) … there were so many shots of us laughing and clearly having a great time. Love it! @brianvanderark is ALWAYS a fantastic partner in these shows and Brendan @wheatusofficial killed it and is an all-around super cool human being! We’re all gonna go play karate in the garage now. Thank you to everyone who came out to both performances!…🙏🤘🔥 by @johnhampsonofficial

3 moments (1 still shot, 2 vids) from The Indigo Room 9.19 show…I LOVE doing these acoustic duo shows with @jonsdrumstudio. It’s just such a good time- but no matter how many times I have done this, I still carry some “nerves” up on that stage - and that’s part of the thrill. Last night we played a new song (“Even if You Hurt Yourself”) for the first time - and I proceeded to start it in the wrong key! Give it a listen and see how I am desperately trying to figure out why I can’t find the melody in the 1st vid, and see how gracious and wonderful the crowd is when I realize I messed up. 2nd vid- I restarted it in the proper key only to remember I needed a little disclaimer at the top…sometimes these are the moments that make shows unique and special. Roll with it! Big thank you to everyone who filled up The Indigo Room in Great Barrington, MA and to Jon Loree for kicking ass as always! #mahaiweperformingartscenter #storyofagirl #johnhampson #ninedays by @johnhampsonofficial
