POSTS STORIES REELS

Goodbye Yellow Brick Road… for now.

A fortnight full of heart, generosity, endless laughs, many tears, genuine talent and of course, iconic music.

Your Song came out of nowhere. Was I available, was I interested and did I have the skillset to actually execute it… especially when it had been so excellently executed before? Jump to fly, they say. And so I did.

It was/is magical. No ego. Calm focus. Clear intention. No yelling. Lots of listening. Many smiles. A classy vision. So much care. A complete ensemble. All set to and against the great man, Elton John.

To gush a moment, what @thelittleredco have created is so special… and rare. Projects that gather a carefully curated group of wonderfully talented, authentic and individual artists, all bringing the collective vision to life.

@naomikprice captains a steady, consistent and thoughtful ship, prioritising warmth, safety, open discussion and HUMOUR. What a goddam delight.

And the singing. The magic sauce?… I believe it’s singing with smart musical storytellers (band included!) who have nothing to prove. No unnecessary tricks or surprises, just a genuine commitment to the group arc and sound. Intelligent. Mature. Honest. Clever. Sexy... All of you. Big. BIG. Fan. @lukeckennedy, @ireenaa, @jasonarrow

So… that’s all to say I’ve had a ball. I’m better because of it. I needed it. We’ll see you at @sydneyoperahouse in May. Sydney… we coming.

HE’S BEHIND YOU! by @johnjamesohara

Goodbye yellow brick road… I think I’ll miss you most of all.

Your Song was one for the books. The most magical of times with the most wonderful of people. Pure joy from beginning to end.

Banger after banger. Friends becoming family. Endless balloons.

Thanks @thelittleredco 🎈🎈🎈 by @johnjamesohara

What’s The Buzz? @adelaidecabaret 2026.

It’s hard to describe just how special it was. An idea thrown around in a dressing room that seemed almost impossible, made possible. Possible because a tribe of people came together, thought beyond what had been done before and simply said yes, let’s ask.

Big call but… both a life and a career highlight. Yes, there was the singing but more than that the love that this group feels for each other is wild. It’s so special. It’s so rare. It’s so deep… and considering who we all are individually, it shouldn’t actually work… but it does. It’s undeniable and it’s pure magic.

And you know, I finally sang the bastard the way I knew I could. Healing. @lauratipoki I LOVE YOU.

Huge props to the key masterminds in bringing us together; @mahaliabarnes and @joshdormor, @isobelmarmion and the team at CabFest and of course the Delicious Revolutionary himself, @reubenkayeofficial… what a feast you throw, my darling friend.

I can’t wait to visit, explore and meet the best of QLD with my clever mates.

We’ll fang out your favourite Elton John bangers, you’ll join the party…and then you need to tell me where to get the best feed in town. Deal?

See you at the theatre!

The most glorious week in Launceston at the 2026 @australianmusicaltheatrefest

I Gala’d, Frog’d, Diva Den’d, In Conversation’d and completely nerded out over music theatre with friends and colleagues, old and new… and then accidentally fell a little in love with Nadine Garner ☺️

It was like the best end of Act 1 number… that went for 5 days. Iykyk.

Thanks for having me again, @tyranparke. You’ve created a MOMENT. by @johnjamesohara
