Next Hiroshima! Most of the time was spent on Miyajima Island, where there is very large Tori Gate. Hiroshima itself is very modern. The only remaining structure from the Atomic Bomb is the dome, which marks the closest location to where the bomb exploded 600m above the city. Adjacent to the dome is the Children’s Peace Monument that features origami art that is donated by the public. The Peace Memorial Museum also tells the stories of both those that perished and those who survived the bombing. taken in Miyajima Island, Hiroshima Japan by @johnkylecooper

From Osaka to Hiroshima we stopped in Himeji to visit the the finest surviving example of early 17th-century Japanese castle architecture! The interior was as amazing as the exterior! The castle visit was topped off with some Udon noodles :). After Himeji we stopped in Kurashiki (called the Venice of Japan) but found it didn’t live up to its name to much haha 😂. taken in Himeji Castle by @johnkylecooper

Next was Osaka also know as the kitchen of Japan! Lots of food to try! Made sure to stop by Kobe for the delicious beef! Also, had a nice view from the Umeda Sky Building! Finally ended the time in Osaka with an Onsen visit and a Team Labs experience! From Osaka to Himeji I made sure to pick up an Osaka Bento for the Shinkansen! taken in Osaka by @johnkylecooper

Next Stop: Nara! This place has many sacred deer roaming around because the legends say that the deity of the main temple in Nara rode into the area on a deer. Also, the Todai-ji temple was the most impressive temple we saw during the trip! taken in 奈良 Nara, Japan by @johnkylecooper
