Here is another short composition that I wrote called ‘Contentment. I’m not a Jazz Guitarist, but I wrote this piece trying to put something together with the jazz chords that I know.

It was around midnight in 2017 when it happened…the lights flickered, the wind howled, there was a commotion out side, dogs where loudly barking in the distance. I slowly peeked through the blinds to see what was going on. I screamed seeing a hideous face looking at me!!! Then I realized…it was my reflection. Yikes!

Well, it didn’t really happen that way. I was half asleep, sitting on the edge of my bed playing my $250 Takamine acoustic I bought in the late 80’s/early 90’s. My eyes were literally closing, and my noggin’ was dropping down, but I stubbornly kept on playing. Maybe it’s good to create that way? Get rid of the conscious mind and bring out the unconscious lol

As a musician, I feel it’s good to play or write something different than the genre that I’m used to playing, such as rock and blues. Please give a listen and I hope you enjoy it. I was happy with the result.

Here is a short composition piece I wrote called Alcazar, which is a type of castle in the Iberian Peninsula. I’ve always loved and been drawn to castles. Maybe I lived in one in a former life? lol It is written and played with mostly double stops, which means two notes at the same time for the musical layman out there.

As with everything I write, I hope this piece takes you on a musical journey: one that’s through a commanding majestic castle perched on a great hilltop overlooking a valley!

Here is an original song I wrote titled “Forever You.” This performance is from July 2017 at a music fundraiser for St. Nicholas Church in Jersey City, NJ to raise money for a new sound system.

Lending their fantastic vocal talents to help make this song come alive are Lisa Villamaria @amarilla414 @theatersteps and Teresa Reynolds @thequadruplethreat 🎙️✨
