Longtime UFC lightweight John Makdessi calls for boxing matches with Tony Ferguson, Mike Perry, Nate Diaz and Brandon Jenkins 🥊

After 20 fights in the Octagon, Makdessi won his pro boxing debut earlier this year by round 2 TKO.

Done with MMA, Makdessi wants to close out his fighting career in the boxing ring against big names.

“For me, I did MMA for a long time. Now, I just want to do some boxing matches. I want to finish my career.”

JOHN MAKDESSI ISN’T DONE YET 👀

After a controversial UFC 293 decision that many felt went against him, former UFC veteran John Makdessi is looking to make noise once again.

Makdessi (@johnmakdessi) is preparing for his second professional boxing fight after getting a statement KO on his boxing debut back in January and now, he has his sights set on a massive name:

🥊 Tony Ferguson.

Two longtime combat sports veterans.
One boxing ring.
Unfinished business.

Would you watch Makdessi vs. Ferguson or should he fight another UFC veteran first?

Who should “The Bull” fight next?

Some moments last forever. 🇦🇺❤️

UFC 293 reminded me that true victory is giving everything you have, no matter the outcome. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and stood by my side. The journey continues. 🐂

I’ve spent years proving myself against the best. Now I’m calling for a real boxing match.☝🏻

Tony Ferguson, if you’re ready to test yourself in the ring, let’s give the fans a fight they’ll never forget. No cage. No wrestling. Just boxing.🥊

@misfitsboxing , make the fight the fans will actually watch. 🔥

The work is done. I’m ready.

Years of competing at the highest level have prepared me for this next chapter. I’m healthy, disciplined, and looking for the right opportunity to step back into the ring against a real challenge.

If you’re a promoter looking for an exciting, experienced fighter who always comes to compete, let’s make it happen.

The next contract starts now. 🥊

13 years in the UFC. 18 professional wins. Still hungry. Still dangerous. Still chasing greatness.

If you want to see me step back into the ring, tag the promoter, tag the opponent, and share this reel. Let’s make the next fight impossible to ignore.

Who’s next? 🥊🔥
