A dream came true for me today. I get to make my professional debut with @village_theatre in “Come From Away” as the Understudy for Oz and Bob 🐟

This moment marks the beginning of a dream that I had when I was 18 years old. To one day work with The Village Theater. Now at 29 that dream is my reality.

I saved every email over those 9 years of every role I was brought in for and did not book professionally because it was proof that I could do this. That my dream was obtainable! Every year I learned something new. Every year I made a new connection, and I kept showing up.

If someone told me it was going to take another 9 years I would gladly do it all over again, because there is no greater feeling than making all of the beautiful humans I’ve met over those 9 years as proud as I feel today 🫂

To all of the friends and family who have showed up for me, to Rosie, and to my closest and dearest friends. I love you all to life.

1. 2018 - Getting asked by telsey to send in a tape for Hamilton

2. 2019 - First audition and callback for the village theater for Hart island

3. 2019 - Getting called in for leaf by the village theater

4. 2019 - Getting called in for Arpad by the village theater

5. 2020 - Getting called in for Barnaby by the village theater

6. 2020 - Getting called in for pepper/eddie by the village theater

7. 2020 - an email from the casting team at the village about how to get better.

8. 2021 - Getting called in for lefou at the 5th avenue

9. Then from 2021-2025 I thought this dream was no longer for me. That I could never do this professionally, and I made peace with having fun with my friends in community theater. But Something in my heart told me to try again. 2025 I got back into it after years of not auditioning professionally.

2025 - Getting called in for Grease by the village theater

11. 2026 - Getting called in for “And then there were none”

You got all my love Rosie 🐾 🎂 🎉 HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY 🫶🏽

Rosie, my absolute heart! I love you so much. You are the softest place to land, you are the best thing in my life. Your unconditional love towards me through every season of my life is my constant. I don’t deserve you, but thank god you came into my life as an 8 week old puppy who I had BEEF with. Now there is not a drop of bad blood.

Thank you so much to family who has helped me raise her over the years, and @longhairlumpia for being her partner in crime.

@ellyajoy surprised me with VIP tickets to see my all time favorite singer, @isaacslade, formerly of the “The Fray” 💡

I remember going to Walmart and buying my first CD in 4th grade “how to save a life” and listening to it on loop on the bus everyday for years.

It was even more surreal that I shared that story with Isaac during our vip meet and greet section when he played “all at once” my favorite song and he asked me to sing it a bit because he forgot the lyrics.

What was even more special than meeting Isaac was spending quality time with my older sister, life has gotten in the way over these last few years so to have this core memory with her meant even more! Love you big sis! taken in Kirkland Performance Center by @johnnandreww

Ghibli Museum, Mitaka 🇯🇵

Truly one of the best days of my life. The Ghibli museum is notoriously hard to get tickets to, going on sale 1 day a month to only around 54,000 visitors the month prior to when you will be going.

Hayao Miyazaki story telling, art, and social commentary has always meant so much to me. His protection of nature and humanity has always spoken to me being raised in the PNW.

You cannot film in the museum, but I loved this. I was completely present enjoying the artistry of one man’s life.

In the heights 🇵🇭 👔

My dream show, a show that I have prayed for since I was 18. A wish fulfilled.

There are too many cast mates, friends, and family to tag, but I wanted to say thank you all endlessly for your love support and belief in this project.

@ismaellanderos36 for believing in this story and our community to carry it with grace. Your directorial debut SOLD OUT, proof of concept that people want to see diverse stories. You did that.

@eatbekfasteveryday and @audreyjfry for guiding us to sound so beautiful - I looked at so many firewoRKSSSSSS

@scooter_mc29 for your gorgeous lighting design and @hazzazel_mae for putting me in shirts made in the Philippines. + my lucky cat 🐱

@sophia_friesen for being the SM of my dreams and always fitted up - and @kykyrjohnson for moving that SET 😈

lived in beautifully!

In The Heights opens tonight 💃 🚙 🇵🇭

This is my dream show and I’m so grateful to get to play Benny. Thank you @littlelemonproductions for the opportunity 🍋

Although the show is completely sold out, a VERY SMALL amount of tickets will be available at the door to purchase for those who want to line up early and try.
