10.5 years ago, you came into our lives at 18 months of age. Needless to say there was quite the adjustment period for you. Different owners, different environment to live in, routine change up. Quite overwhelming for a big pup. But over the years, you have given us an eventful adventure, attached to the meaning of the word companionship. Between all the escape attempts (and successes) and many a mishap in the house!! I'm surprised I don't have more greys on my head as a result!

However, you've become super protective of my wife, you were a great younger brother to Scotch and Bam (may they both continue resting peacefully), a guardian over my daughter since birth (even while she was still cooking, you knew what was happening with her!) and a solid friend to myself. Since Bam's passing, you have had a massive transition. Thru your moments of pain and grief, you've managed to show me a lot of reflections of myself. You've given me plenty of perspective, valuable lessons and lots of laughs... with as many nights of frustration, loss of sleep and arguments.

But you have been the one thing I've only ever expected you to be... and that is truthful. You may be a Husky (and an IG spec example of a husky in all areas, vocals, attitude and all).... but you're a true friend. I thank you dearly andI appreciate all you do for our family. And our Shok Therapy sessions AKA our walks have priceless value on them, to which I am grateful. Happy 12th birthday, Shok. We love you. 🐺🐾 by @johnniedapper

Jon spent his whole adult life trying to get rid of the love handles, belly fat, and that little stomach that never seemed to disappear.

No matter what he tried, it always came back.

Until now.

For the first time ever, he’s seeing ab lines.

Feeling confident taking his shirt off.

12 years of you being in my life. What a life journey you've helped me create.Helped me build. We have truly grown together and if this is where we are, after 12 years together.... they years to follow are going to tell quite the story. I truly love waking up to you each day and seeing what each page to our story brings. And it helps with the little spice of a fiery, feisty, fun toddler by our side, accompanied by the amounts of fluff from our husky. I almost don't remember moments of my life without you. And it's because of that... I can't imagine my life without you.

Over the time of growing my beard, I've also grown in social circles of like minded people from all walks, that have goals and visions they wish to accomplish. And on the daily, we have conversations about bettering ourselves, so we can add (or continue to add) value to the community. So, it hasn't just been a professional friendship, it's become a brotherly bond, in order to assist one another grow and develop while on our life journeys.

Alpine Beards Australia graciously invited me on this photoshoot in northern Victoria back in mid winter and what an experience! To be in the outdoors for the day, it completely opened my visual spectrum on a lot of levels. I often forget, living in suburbia, to step outside and soak in all nature has to offer. And what a better place to do this than an area with surrounds; such as mountains, trees, waterfalls etc. This turned into a soul deep experience that I truly embraced... and reminded myself that this needs to become more of a routine in my life.

This shoot, wasn't just about celebrating locally made product I stand by.... it's about forming strong bonds and looking out for each other. And wanting each other to succeed. This shoot was a reminder to be around those that will help build, connect, strengthen, inspire. by @johnniedapper

Night Slayer and Morning Wood by Cowells

I'm a firm believer in having a night time (as well as wake up) routine with your beard. In my case, I work out first thing in the morning... and Morning Wood has become a non negotiable before I hit the gym. And before i hit the pillow... I bring out the Night Slayer.

What are these? They are whipped beard and mustache oils. Super easy to apply, super hydrating on the beard and mo, these are a dead set winner in my books. Between the Lavender, Peppermint, Orange Peel and Lime citrus, Witch Hazel to name a few of the oils used in both products, the component that separates these two products is the fragrance oils.

My only regret? I didn't grab more of these during the closing down sale. I hope other beard care manufacturers pick up where Cowells left off with this winning combo. Or some night treatment. Very reminiscent of The Beard Nods Beard Hydrate. Something that will do it's thing overnight and you wake up with an ultra soft and hydrated beard.

Selene, you have been such a joy and a pleasure to watch grow over these last 3 years of your life. Experiencing all the emotions of being a little human has been a test to say the least. With big smiles and big cuddles, have also come moments where you either destroy the house or attempt to pull my beard off or claw your mother down and scream and kick and lose it. You go thru all the emotions and you pull yourself together everytime. Whether it be thru music or just cuddles from Mum or Dad, or you get up and play like nothing happened. Your vocabulary has increased SOOO much this year and your doing the best job at holding all the conversation. You're doing amazing. We are so proud of how far you have come. And we love you very much! Thank you for teaching your mother and I to be better parents by the day too. We appreciate you truly.

Happy 3rd birthday, our beautiful girl. Enjoy your day today 🎂🎁🎊🎉🎈💞🥰

When you got to face demons that you thought you slayed a long time ago. And it turns out they were laying dorment this whole time, yet to be dealt with "officially." I ask myself now if they knew all along that I wasn't prepared for the proper showdown back then; than what I am now. So as I face them front on... these pages are going to show a LOT of the cuts, bruises, broken bones, and sleepless nights I underwent years before. This piece should hopefully teach people how to deal with your inner battles front on. How to come out the better person. Give a different perspective on what people think would be holding them back.

Those that know my history will know this piece has been a long time coming. And I never knew what approach to take with it.. until now. I did say 2025 was going to be a pivotal point. Stay tuned... for now... by @johnniedapper

FRESH CUT FEELS! 😎

Something about leaving the barbershop, feeling like a million dollars, and looking the part, too. Am I blowing my own trumpet? Damn right, I am!! I've been working on me internally and externally for some time now, and I can honestly say I feel fantastic. A lot of challenges I've continually worked thru (because being human is juuuust great! Enter sarcasm here haha), and I look at how far I've come over the years. I reflect on me in my late teens and 20s, and my current self in the 40s is thinking, "Was I really that same person?!?" I've come a long way and today, I'm giving myself that credit I deserve.
