Dealing with the root, not just the behaviour.
So often we focus on what young people are doing, without asking what they have been through. Behind Ii is often pain and experiences that have shaped how they see the world.
When we stop asking, “What’s wrong with you?” and start asking, “What happened to you?” everything changes.
Behaviour is communication. Healing begins when we understand the message behind it.
