Beast Man
Another post it note drawing I started a little before seeing the Masters of the Universe movie this summer. It kind of got lost in the shuffle of the summer, but finally finished it up.

More student work from the spring semester. This was a lesson that I took over at the start of my student teaching. Students were asked to create their own cityscape. They could be as real or imagined as they wanted. Students created a low relief with cardboard, then painted in details with acrylic paint. These selected works are from the 6th grade class at LaSalle II. by @johnny.disco

In January I started student teaching while still working full time. I completed my time in May and am now finally starting to feel caught up on life. I wanted to share some of the student work from my time teaching at LaSalle II Elementary School in Chicago. This was my first full lesson on my own for kindergarten and 1st grade. Using Keith Haring's Dance as inspiration students created a multi figure collage expressing their own dance moves. They were also able to draw from their experience in the school's dance program. Drew this out while listening to @gothamcitytonight live stream this morning. Seemed appropriate given the Playmates news and being X-Mas eve.

I learned from the black Friday episode of @toy.geeks that, apparently, there are sharks in Gladiator 2. This image immediately came to mind while @toygalaxy and @geekdadlife were talking about it, and I had to get it out into the world. Not sure this is how they looked in the movie, though.
