This is hard. I'm struggling. Just a few days ago, 30th May 2026 at 13:10, the strongest and bravest woman, the best Mam and Grandma, closed her eyes and became an angel.

I can only dream of being as brave as you Mam. Battling cancer for 10 long years, taking it head on, all the chemo, the life-threatening surgeries, the final 6 months, you kept your head up and fought it all with everything you had. You and your heart kept beating on, you never gave up. Nobody can compare to your courage and fortitude. One of a kind. My love. My mam.

It still doesn't feel real, I'm lost and numb, but I hope I've made you proud. I hope I can continue to make you proud. I know how proud you were of your grandchildren and they love you so much. You were my advice, my wisdom, my stories. My everything.

78 days apart, losing my little Alfie Pug and now you, now I'm just empty. Exhausted. The heartbreak is too much. I will try to focus on you being free of pain and now with Little Grandad and Grandma, and Benji. Please give my Alfie Pug all the hugs and kisses. I'll see you again, I'll never stop loving you.

9.6.14 - 13.3.26 🌈

Almost a month ago, the most gentle and loving boy closed his eyes for one last time after sharing 11 years, 9 months and 4 days with the world. Even though I'm still at a loss for words and completely heartbroken, I need to write about you and continue to share you with the world.

The first day we met, you chose me before I chose you. You were the most perfect boy, patient and calm, but also the best big brother to Cara. From day one of Cara coming into the world, you sat by her side and showed nothing but patience, protection and admiration for her. You had never-ending love to give. If only love could have kept you here for longer.

Your time here feels too short, with your life and memories flying by far too fast. I would do it all over again with you in a heartbeat. Every moment with you, every play fight, side-eye, burp after food, every cuddle and walk, meant the absolute world to me. You were my boy and you will forever be my boy. My best friend. The absolute best. My love.

Even though my heart has completely shattered, every little bit of it is full of love for you, my boy. I hope you closed your eyes and fell asleep in my arms knowing and feeling how much love you had each and every day. I hope you left us happy and at peace with your life. I'm so sorry.
