Some souls leave behind more than music. They leave behind a feeling that words can never quite capture. It’s been 4 years Alex & every year the Harvest moon gets me to pause & think of you, through Dear Humans you gave us something beautiful: a reminder that music can reach the places within us that the world cannot touch.

Perhaps that is the true magic of what you leave behind. Long after the last note fades, the feeling, the people you moved, the nights you soundtracked, and the hearts you touched without ever knowing how deeply your music mattered.

Tonight, beneath the Harvest Moon, I’ll think of you and of the beautiful, mysterious connection between music, life, and the souls we encounter along the way.

Thank you for leaving this world a little more beautiful than you found it.

Some people become part of the music. Others become part of eternity.

May your light continue to find us in the places where words end and music begins.🐦‍⬛ 🌕 by @johnny_om

Tbh, There have been moments when @chantressseba has reached parts of my soul that even AA couldn’t.
And I say that with love. I was once GUNG HO about AA. Meetings, commitments, service. Grateful for all of it. All 1,000 meetings I hit in a year & yes I kept track lol
But sometimes, hearing the same stories of brokenness every day, you start asking: When do we stop rehearsing our darkness and start becoming something beyond it?
If you call yourself a fuck-up every day, eventually that identity becomes your destination.
Seba’s music has reminded me I’m more than my trauma or my past. Sometimes I don’t need another reminder of who I was.
I need something that reminds me I’m ALIVE & that’s what her energy gives me so, very grateful! 🙏🏻🫶🏻
Wish all of you a peaceful Sunday! ✌🏻😘 by @johnny_om

Rip Mrs.Samoniantz aka Sam, will never forget you. 🥹“Oh captain, my captain” 🕊️🖤 Long ago, I made the mistake of allowing certain people to make me question what I wrote as if being vulnerable, emotional, or “too emo” somehow made the art less valid.
But that was never something I needed to fix.
That was simply me being me.
And I refuse to silence that part of myself ever again.
Whether it’s music, poetry, or anything else that needs to come out of me, I’m going to create it.

I’m not interested in conforming 🤷🏻‍♂️🫶🏻✌🏻 •
