I'm just a simple guy who likes to share his nerdy hobbies after coming home from work. Like and follow for more. 👍

I have been building 30 Minutes Sisters and 30 Minutes Missions model kits since 2021 and have taken 1000+ pictures of my builds over the years. Though I started out with Gundam kits, I slowly gravitated towards the 30MM/30MS model kit line for its endless customizable options.

Here's a small sample of some of the builds and photo work.

Model kit building, and model kit photography for that matter, are hobbies I never would have dreamed I would get into. And to think it all started with a spur-of-the-moment, why-the-hell-not decision to grab a Gundam kit from a video game store.

Enjoy!

I was originally trying to recreate Bender from Futurama using 30 Minutes Missions parts, but the project kinda just morphed into its own character and personality.

I'll still count this as a win.

It's all about the friends you make along the way.

I was going through my box of model kit spare parts when the sudden urge to become Hokage appeared again.

With the release of the new Pokemon game trailer, I got inspired to create my very own set of little ones from spare parts and random pieces from my 30 Minutes Missions collection.

Let's call 'em MechaBuds!

I also used this opportunity to practice my color marker skills. Still rough around the edges but that's the point of practicing. I honestly think the tiny imperfections give each one its own unique visual charm.

I had fun with this one, and that's the point of any hobby, right? 😃

The model kit build streak ain't slowing down. This is the 30 Minutes Missions Baskyrotto, custom painted, weathered, and decaled.

This is actually a repurposed and repainted kit from a previous project. I'm trying to find ways to reuse older models I have in storage and see what new iterations I can come up. Not a bad way to save a bit of $$$ for other purchases.

These are the nine (actually 10 😁) custom model kits I've painted and built so far this year. Every single project has been a blast to do. While some took longer to complete than others, each one represents a little bit of my growth as a model kit builder. I've been doing this for about 5 years now but there's still so much to learn and experience.

Here's to the next nine (or 10) projects! 🍻

I couldn't sleep so I made a quick kitbash of the P-Bandai Baskyrotto and the newly-released Techproto 30MM model base kits.

I also added a few extra armour and option pieces just to complete the look, together with some minimal colour marker detailing.

This is my latest 30 Minutes Missions custom model kit build, inspired by the mech design of the "Scopedog" from Armored Trooper Votoms.
